ArmInfo. Vladimir Karapetyan appointed press secretary to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Earlier, Karapetyan held the position of spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. But after the events of March 1, 2008, when Karapetyan and a number of other Foreign Ministry employees joined the opposition movement of the first President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, they were dismissed.
To note, prior to the December parliamentary elections, Arman Yeghoyan, who after being elected to the National Assembly headed the European Integration Commission, held the post of spokesperson for the Prime Minister.
