ArmInfo. Bypasses for unloading city traffic will be built in Yerevan, the press service of the city administration reports. According to the information, at this stage a number of measures and programs in this direction are being considered.
The city governor Hayk Marutyan and Transport Minister Hakob Arshakyan visited today the sites where future construction is planned."The road construction program in question has existed on paper since Soviet times. The M15 program will link the Ararat region with Kotayk, circling the Yerevan districts of Erebuni and Nor Nork",- said the city hall.
The program, according to Hayk Marutyan, is quite realizable.The next program, which will allow to relieve the city traffic, provides for the construction of a new road that will connect the metropolitan area of Davtashen with Kanaker-Zeytun through Kotaykuyu region."The metropolitan administration is actively negotiating with the Asian Development Bank for the construction of new transport hubs next to the Ayrenik cinema (Shengavit district) and the Circus (City Center). These programs, in turn, will relieve these sections of the city and avoid congestion, "- said the city council.
