ArmInfo. The bonus payments and the 13th salary that are widespread in the country are manifestations of vicious practices. Gayane Abrahamyan, lawmaker of the National Assembly from the ruling "My Step" bloc, wrote on her Facebook page. She noted that this practice is vicious because it has been used quite often before. Moreover, according to Abrahamyan, it is one of the manifestations of the inaction of the control system. "This system has excluded both the possibility of healthy competition, and the mechanisms of bonuses, which are based on the assessment of labor, as well as labor motivation," the MP said.
Abrahamyan also stated that it was very important to raise this problem, as it once again proved how imperfect the government system is, as well as how much work is to be done in the near future. To note, yesterday during a briefing in the National Assembly of Armenia, the head of the faction of the My Step bloc Lilit Makunts stated that the actions of the governors do not contradict the law.
To recall, on January 20 a number of governors of Armenia issued bonuses for themselves and a number of employees in the amount from half to full monthly salary. Governor of the Ararat region Gagik Sargsyan wrote out, for example, 104% of his monthly salary or about 700 thousand drams. At the same time, the same Sargsyan previously found it difficult to answer the question of the Prime Minister about the size of cultivated land in the Ararat region.
