ArmInfo. Armenian Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the fact that he was recognized as the politician of the year according to the readers of the "Vedomosti" newspaper.
On his Facebook page, Pashinyan wrote that he was very pleased to be the reader-recognized politician of the year. "However, I think it's necessary to remember once and for all that not a "color", but a nonviolent, velvet, popular revolution took place in Armenia. There is a huge difference between these two concepts," Pashinyan stressed.
To note, the traditional special project "Vedomosti" edition and readers choose the person of the year in six nominations. The editors of the newspaper chose Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor of Politics, as a politician, and readers gave their preference to the Armenian leader. The voting results were published on December 27th. The publication called the events in Armenia a "color revolution".
