As reported by the press service of the National Security Service, on December 21, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia informed that a police officer demanded a bribe of $ 700 to resolve his complaint in his favor.
As a result of the operational-investigative measures, it turned out that the inspector of the Police of the metropolitan community of Arabkir A.O. demanded from citizen N.Kh. $ 700 in order not to proceed with the complaint filed against him, and to send the plaintiff to other authorities. As a result of bargaining between the parties, the transaction price was reduced to $ 500.
At about noon on December 26, NSS officers detained a police officer immediately after receiving a bribe. A Criminal case was initiated.
