Another cable way will be built in Armenia in 2019

In 2019, another cable car will be built in Armenia.  The head of the State Committee on Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of  the Republic of Armenia Hripsime Grigoryan said this on December 26   at a press conference.  She noted that we are talking about several  tens of millions of dollars.

"Yesterday evening, a regular meeting with the investor took place, during which an agreement was reached on the implementation of the winter tourism infrastructure  construction program according to the developed business plan early  next year," the head of the State Committee said. In addition to the  above, H. Grigoryan noted that the state, for its part, intends to  provide support, in particular in matters related to the construction  of roads and electricity.

She did not disclose in more detail information about the investor  and the project, but in this vein she noted that, from a tourist  point of view, this is a very attractive area, where the scenic  nature and already have hotels. "This is one of the most visited  tourist cities in Armenia," she said.  In her opinion, the  construction of another cable way in Armenia will allow improving the  quality of service, revising the pricing policy, etc.
