ArmInfo.As head of the country chairing in the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a labor agreement with the Secretary General of the OIF.
According to the press service of the government, the signing of the document took place during the meeting of Pashinyan with the OIF administrator Adama Ouane. Ouane explained that the functions of Armenia, as the chairing country of the organization, include signing an employment contract with the new Secretary General of the OIF, Rwandan Foreign Minister Louise Mushikiwabo, and in accordance with the established procedure, the head of the presiding country should sign the document. The OIF Administrator expressed confidence that Armenia plays and will continue to play a large role in the organization. In turn, N. Pashinyan stressed the importance of cooperation between the OIF and Armenia, stating that during the chairmanship of the organization, Armenia will make maximum efforts to solve the problems facing the OIF, further develop the organization and in the direction of increasing prestige in the international arena.
