ArmInfo. The "Assembly of Armenians" public organization of cultural, educational and business initiatives, will award grants to the students of the Gnessin State Musical College in honor of outstanding Armenian musicians - Komitas, Aram Khachaturian, Charles Aznavour and Jivan Gasparyan.
On December 19, in the Organ Hall of the Gnessin School will be announced the establishment of educational grants to Armenian students of the legendary educational institution by the public organization "Assembly of Armenians".
The ceremony of awarding grants named after Komitas, Aram Khachaturian, Charles Aznavour and Jivan Gasparyan to pupils for achievements in performing arts will be held at the Christmas Meeting. The laureates of the grants were chosen for the representation of the Directorate and the competent jury. Considering the invaluable contribution of teachers to the cultural development of students, the "ssembly of Armenians" will also award grants to specialized teachers.
The solemn presentation will take place at the "Christmas meeting" under the auspices of the "Assembly of Armenians" with the participation and support of the Armenian Embassy in Russia and the Russian and Novo-Nakhichevan Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The official award ceremony will be opened by well-known journalist and TV anchor Tina Kandelaki and famous commentator and football journalist Nobel Arustamyan. The evening will bring together successful and talented cultural, business and other sectors of the Armenian world to share the success formula in the Christmas environment with the younger generation. Also, by financing of the "Assembly of Armenians" in the evening will announce the opening of a special optional course at the Gnessin School on teaching the duduk in honor of Jivan Gasparyan.
