ArmInfo. "As a result of difficult negotiations, the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) managed to invite a legendary football player to the republic, whose  name I cannot voice now," said Artur Vanetsyan, director of the RA  National Security Service, in an interview with RFE/RL's Armenian  Service.

According to Vanetsyan, he will be able to disclose his name  on January 6th. "This is a football legend who agreed to come to  Armenia and work with our coaches. He will also work on the  development strategy of this sport's football. Those countries in  which he has worked for the past 20 years have become leaders on the  football map of the world," said the head of the FFA.  Vanetsyan also  said that the Spaniard who is responsible for the physical training  of Real Madrid players works as an assistant to the Armenian national  team coach. "The head coach Armen Gulbudaghyants himself, works day  and night so that our team will be successful," he said.

Artur Vanetsyan expressed confidence in the bright future of football  in Armenia and once again reminded about the need to develop youth  and mass football. In this context, Vanetsyan said that during  meetings with FIFA head Gianni Infantino and UEFA President  Aleksander Ceferin, an agreement was reached on financial support for  FFA in the construction of small football grounds. "Our goal in the  next 5 years in the republic is to build about 700 small football  fields. In 2019, 12 small fields will be built in Vayots Dzor,  construction of a stadium in Yeghegnadzor, a football school in  Martuni is expected, construction of a football school in Sisian,  Armavir, Echmiadzin "- said the head of the FFA.

To recall, the other day the disciplinary body of the Union of  European Football Associations (UEFA) fined the Football Federation  of Armenia for 18 thousand euros. FFA was fined for the behavior of  fans in the match of the League of Nations Armenia-Gibraltar (0-1),  which was held on October 13 in Armenia, according to the website of  the international organization.
