Former Head of Serzh Sargsyan`s security arrested for two months

ArmInfo. The court of general jurisdiction decided to extend for two months the term of arrest of the former chief of security of the third president of  Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan Vachagan Ghazaryan.

Ghazaryan is accused of illegal enrichment and money laundering. He  does not admit his guilt. Earlier, he was already arrested, but  released on bail in the amount of 1 billion drams. This time, the  court did not agree to such a measure of restraint, despite the fact  that Ghazaryan expressed his willingness to "donate to the state" the  $ 6 million held in his accounts and found in his premises, which,  according to Ghazaryan, belong to his friend and are of legal origin  that he proved on the basis of the facts presented to the  investigation.
