ArmInfo. "Following the  extraordinary parliamentary elections, the ARF Dashnaktsutyun will  not be represented in the National Assembly of Armenia of the 7th  convocation. This is a defeat, but not of our elector," the ARF  statement reads.

In this defeat, according to the report, the party sees the  following: the voter today gave his vote to the personality, but not  to the idea and program; a significant part of the voters who took  part in the elections today is concentrated on the image of the  "internal enemy" and is wonderfully calm against the background of  external and internal threats; ARFD approaches today are perceived by  a minority; Artsakh factor is not paid enough attention to the  political agenda; a National Assembly is formed without a clear  ideological and national identity.

In addition, as stated in the statement of the ARF, this short  campaign was also important because the party got a real impression  of the army of supporters who would take part in its struggle. "This  army is small, but real, its decision is clear, not fashionable, and  is dictated only by inner conviction and clear consciousness.  Not a  single unconscious voice, not a single random person", the ARF  stated. At the same time, the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" believes that it  was able to enter into a discussion, voice its concerns, resist  dangerous tendencies, and give its arguments. "At the moment, our  word did not find a wide perception and was underestimated, but we  managed to show the situation from the forgotten side, creating the  opportunity to think and analyze, to awaken our vigilance. Over time,  our impartial citizens, concerned about the fate of their homeland  and correctly understanding the importance of the Artsakh problem,  will compare the daily news with our fears and understand what we  said, and sounded the alarm, "the statement reads.

ARFD members thank their voter. "This page of history is closed and a  new one opens. We are entering this new story with a nationwide  cohesive structure, our dream of the future and with the  determination to fight",the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" statement reads.  To  recall, according to the results of the elections, the "My Step" bloc  received 70.43% of the votes, Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia  parties won 8.37% and 6.37% of the votes, respectively. It is these  three political forces that will enter the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia. The voting results have been summed up from all  the 2010 polling stations. The current elections were characterized  by low voter turnout, which amounted to 48.63% of voters, which is  significantly lower than in the previous parliamentary elections in  2017, when more than 60% of voters came to the polls.
