Armen Ashotyan to Nikol Pashin: As it turned out, the Gazelle method  turned out to be more effective than the ideals of the revolution

He noted that Nikol Pashinyan named 3 reasons for which the turnout is low. "Firstly, Pashinyan noted that people on the Gazelle were brought to the polling stations  earlier, but today there is no more such practice. In fact, did the  Gazelle prove to be stronger than revolutionary ideals?

It turns out that people's going to the polling stations on Gazelle "was a  mechanism for ensuring the right to vote, and your revolutionary  ideals are not. I think this is a very weak explanation that does not  correspond to reality, since if we take this explanation as a basis,  it turns out that active agitation and anti-agitation by Nikol   Pashinyan trolled in recent months, it had no value. If the "Gazelle"  method was effective the ideals of the revolution, then I feel sorry  for the power that was generated based on these realities.

The second reason for the low turnout, according to Prime Minister,  is that today is a day off and people drink coffee, etc. If you have  forgotten, let me remind you that all the elections held in Armenia  in recent years were held precisely on Sunday. On the same Sunday,  people woke up, drank coffee, organized their daily routine and went  to the polls, "said Ashotyan.He noted that the third reason indicated  by Pashinyan was adverse weather conditions.

"This reason also does not stand up to criticism, as the prime minister with his sole  decision postponed the elections from spring to December. Then he  probably did not know that in December there is usually bad weather,"  Ashotyan wondered.Note that according to data at 17:00, turnout was  39.54%, which is much lower than in the 2017 parliamentary elections.
