Nikol Pashinyan: I voted for a fair, free and happy Armenia

ArmInfo. "I voted for a fair, free and happy Armenia," the Acting Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan told reporters on December 9 after voting at a polling station. 

According to the results of the elections, it will become clear who  will be the main political opponent of the government. If the  statements of the first number of the Republican Party's list of  administrative resources are confirmed, then those responsible will  be punished.

Answering the question of why, in this case, the Governors of the  regions actively participate in the elections., RA Acting Prime  Minister stressed that the law does not prohibit them.

Speaking about the upcoming steps of the government, Nikol Pashinyan  noted that the program of the Cabinet of Ministers clearly contains  provisions relating to overcoming poverty within five years, solving  a number of economic and social problems. "Important and significant  steps have already been taken in this direction" the Acting prime  minister stressed.

Speaking about the possibility of forming a parliamentary coalition,  Nikol Pashinyan stressed that if sociological polls prove correct,  then the need for a coalition will disappear.

Today, extraordinary parliamentary elections are held in Armenia, in  which 9 parties and 2 blocs participate. Political parties need to  overcome the 5% barrier and 7% for the blocks to enter parliament. If  only two political forces overcome the necessary barrier, the  third-place electoral competitor, regardless of the outcome, will  also receive mandates, since the Constitution guarantees the presence  in the representative body of at least three parties or blocs.

According to the "GALLUP International association" poll for the  parliamentary elections in Armenia, the absolute leader in the  election race is the ruling "My Step" bloc with 69.4% of the votes.  For the ruling bloc, as in the past, the party "Prosperous Armenia"  follows from 5.7%. 3.8% of voters are ready to cast votes for the  "Enlightened Armenia" party, followed by ''Sasna Tsrer'' from 1.4%,  the Republican Party from 1.5%, ARF Dashnaktsutyun from 1.2%, the  ''We'' bloc from 0.8%, ''Orinats Yerkir'' from 0.4%, .  Following the  ''OE'', the ''Citizen's Choice'' party is located with 0.3%, the  ''National Progress'' party, with 0.1%. But the party  ''Christian-National Revival'' recorded a 0% rating. . The polling  error is 3%.
