ArmInfo. In the first constituency of Yerevan (Avan, Nor-Nork) an incident occurred between candidates for MPs from the ruling "My Step" bloc, Nikol Pashinyan's adviser Mesrop Papikyan and "We" bloc Ani Hachatryan.
As Papikyan wrote on his Facebook paget an employee of his campaign headquarters was beaten up tonight when he stuck campaign posters in the 6th Nor Nork . "When an employee of my headquarters stuck my posters, he saw that the unknown after him immediately tear them down. He went over to find out what the reason was and was attacked", wrote Papikyan.
He then went to the Police and, accompanied by law enforcement officers, tried to penetrate into the pre-election headquarters of the "We" bloc to find out what the cause of the conflict was. "However, we were met there badl,," said Papikyan.
An opposite statement was made by the candidate from the "We" bloc from the 1st metropolitan district Ani Khachatryan, who wrote on her Facebook page that Papikyan, together with unknown persons, broke into her headquarters and tried to settle scores. "They behaved incorrectly in relation to our staff. They also began filming all of our strategic documents on camera. In fact, we submitted a message to the Police", the candidate wrote.
To note, earlier representatives of the Republican Party appealed to the Police with complaints of threats and damage to election posters. They also complained about the use of administrative resources during election campaigns. And the day before, the candidate from the RPA in the Lori region, Eduard Sharmazanov, reported that two unknown persons in front of his headquarters in Vanadzor staged the fact of the distribution of the pre-election bribe. The media also reported on the distribution of bribes in the Shirak region by members of the Prosperous Armenia Party.
