Shahnazaryan qualifies invitation of National Security Service as a  political persecution

ArmInfo.The third number of the proportional list of the Republican Party, the former head of the MNS, David Shahnazaryan qualifies an invitation from the National  Security Service to give them explanations in connection with the  statement that the current government implements the policy of "power  in exchange for Artsakh", political persecution, and an attempt to  pressure those "numerous" voters who are ready to vote for the RPA.  Shahnazaryan said this at a press conference today, stressing that  they will not give the authorities an opportunity to realize their  plans.

"I received a call the day before at 9:45pm from the National  Security Service and asked for meetings with the aim of handing me an  envelope - this was an invitation to appear in the Service at  10:00am. I said that I could not come at 10:00am, but I would be at  1:00pm. I really intended to go to the National Security Service at  this time and make the statement that will be voiced now. However, I  was surprised by the fact that the National Security Service was  ahead of me and I myself made a statement about my invitation to the  Service. Therefore, I found it inappropriate to accept this  invitation and decided to replace it press conference at which I  qualify the actions of the National Security Service as a political  investigation by the public order of acting Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan on vacation. If, as stated in the report of the National  Security Service, I announced this statement on November 27, why did  they invite me today? Yes, because Nikol Pashinyan made such a public  indication the day before, " said Shahnazaryan.

He stressed that even now he does not refuse his words: "I say this  with all responsibility. I have already presented the facts in my  statements as proof of the words I have expressed. I am ready to  present them in the subsequent, but not to the National Security  Service, but to the public. I'm ready also provide more detailed  details regarding the statement I made the other day that Pashinyan's  team-mate Sasun Mikayelyan was handed over to Omar during the Artsakh  war. Vazgen Sargsyan wanted to shoot him then, many people knew about  it, Sargsyan personally told me about it. "Everything that Mikayelyan  says now is a lie," said Shahnazaryan, stressing that there are no  law enforcement structures in Armenia, these are punitive bodies that  have nothing in common with the state and respect the interests of  Nikol Pashinyan, who understand less Pashinyan in the Artsakh issue.  According to him, the forces participating in the elections are also  Pashinian's henchmen. He called on all RA citizens to vote for the  RPA, since every vote for Pashinyan is a "bullet against Artsakh".

According to Shahnazaryan, sooner or later, Pashinyan will appear  before the court. In this regard, he called law enforcement agencies  does not become an "accomplice" of his crimes. "Wake up, this regime  has a short life, do not become complicit in these crimes, there was  no greater evil for Armenia and Artsakh than this pseudo-revolution,"  he assured.  Shahnazaryan also urged not to send him "such papers  (invitations to the National Security Service)".  "Send an arrest  warrant immediately, but you don't scare me either. It didn't succeed  even in Soviet times, whose special services were famous all over the  world," Shahnazaryan said, assuring that he had been invited to the  Special Investigation Service earlier, went there.

To note, today Shahnazaryan was called to the National Security  Service for giving explanations in connection with earlier statements  that the current government of Armenia pursues the policy of "Artsakh  in exchange for power" and presenting actual evidence confirming the  truth of this statement, as Shakhnazaryan promised, the National  Security Service of the Republic of Armenia reports. According to the  National Security Service, by this statement, Shahnazaryan, in fact,  accuses the acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in state treason.
