ArmInfo. From the very beginning of the election campaign, employees of the Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia have been monitoring.
According to the press service of the ombudsman, all those incidents that contained elements of a criminal offense were recorded by the Human Rights Defender and forwarded to the competent structures of Armenia, to carry out appropriate proceedings against the latter.
In particular, to date, reports have been submitted to the authorities that threats against the candidate from the Republican Party of Armenia Vahan Babayan were voiced, as well as obstacles to the implementation of agitation in the city of Aparan to representatives of the ''Citizen's Decision'' party.
To note, the staff of the ombudsman's office formed a working group in order to monitor the electoral process on the preparation and holding of special elections to the National Assembly of Armenia on December 9. To recall, on December 9 in Armenia there will be extraordinary parliamentary elections, for the participation in which the CEC registered 11 political parties and blocs. These are the "My Step" bloc, the ''Prosperous Armenia'' party, the ''National Progress'' party, the ''Christian-National Renaissance'' party, the ''Sasna Tsrer'' All-Armenian party, the ''Orinats Yerkir'' party, the ''We'' party, the ''ARF Dashnaktsutyun'' party, the party ''Enlightened Armenia'', ''Republican Party of Armenia'', ''Social Democratic Party", ''Citizen's Decision''party.
