ArmInfo. A group of international observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly will monitor the early parliamentary elections in Armenia on December 9.
This is stated in the press service of the Council of the IPA CIS.According to the source, the group of observers was formed in accordance with the invitation of the Armenian parliament. It will be headed by Deputy Toraga of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Mirlan Bakirov. A total of 23 international observers from IPA CIS are accredited, representing six states - participants of the Assembly (Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan). Among them are deputies, representatives of the highest legislative bodies, as well as staff of the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council and experts from the International Institute for Monitoring the Development of Democracy, Parliamentarism and Observance of the Election Rights of Citizens of the IPA CIS Member States.It should be noted that 11 political forces will take part in the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Armenia.
