ArmInfo.The arrest of the owner of the H2 channel, an entrepreneur Samvel Mayrapetyan, accused of assisting in receiving a bribe, was extended for another two months.On November 29 a judge of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction Anna Matevosyan, granted the request of the investigator of the Special Investigation Service (SIS) of Armenia and extended the arrest of Mayrapetyan for two months.
Lawyer of the entrepreneur Karen Batikyan considers the decision of the court illegal and groundless. The defense of the accused is going to appeal the decision to the Court of Appeal. Mairapetyan's lawyers claim that their client suffers from a disease that is incompatible with arrest.
