Pashinyan assures: There is no discrepancy between the society and  the government on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict

ArmInfo. Nikol Pashinyan, who heads the "My Step" election bloc, during a meeting with voters in Vanadzor, said that there are no discrepancies between society and  the government on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Pashinyan was outraged by the fact that since he was elected prime  minister, some have been constantly signaling concessions and  compulsions. "I have already asked the question from the rostrum what  are the previous authorities talking about, who could not represent  Armenia with dignity in the negotiation process on the settlement of  the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", the Acting Prime Minister said.

At the same time, he again assured that the Republican Party of  Armenia, during its term in power, had lost the country's security  guarantees from both the domestic and foreign policy points of view.  "The power that plundered the army, what right does it have to talk  about security? There is no discrepancy between the desires of the  people and the government to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.  We want to resolve the Karabakh issue also, as each of you wants, do  not doubt it one iota. will require efforts on our part, we must work  hard and increase government revenues. The number of taxpayers should  increase so that our budget is not beggarly, but increases",  Pashinyan said.

At the same time, he expressed the conviction that the fight against  corruption should be continued and the returned stolen funds should  be directed towards strengthening the Armed Forces. The Acting Prime  Minister assured that he did not want to violate the presumption of  innocence - neither the Sargsyan family, nor the Kocharyans, but this  money should be returned and sent to strengthen the army.

He was also indignant at the statement made by the representative of  the ARF Bureau, Hrant Margaryan, that since May of this year there  have been no deliveries of weapons to Armenia. "I want to disappoint  you, as the supplies are carried out in a natural way according to  the plan," he said, adding that unlike the ARFD and the RPA, the  Armenian people are always ready to stand up for the defense of their  homeland to the last.
