Ara Babloyan: Armenia hopes for early peace and stability in Syria

ArmInfo.On November 27, National Assembly President Ara Babloyan received a delegation led by the leader of the Syria-Armenia parliamentary friendship group Nora  Arisian, who visited Armenia to attend the 52nd plenary session of  the PABSEC.

According to the press service of the parliament, Babloyan turned to  the historical past and traditions of the two peoples, effective  cooperation in various formats. Touching upon regional problems, the  speaker of the parliament noted that Armenia is aware of the  importance of the security of Syria and its citizens, and hopes for  the soonest accession of peace and stability.

Referring to the further deepening and development of relations  between the two countries, the Presiden of the National Assembly  noted the need for active contacts and reciprocal visits of  parliamentarians.

In turn, the guests, highly appreciating the fruitful bilateral  cooperation, thanked Armenia for supporting the Syrian people in  difficult moments. Members of the delegation in the development of  relations between Syria and Armenia appreciated the role of the  Armenian community, which is an indivisible part of Syrian society  and has made a great contribution to the development of the country.
