In response to this, Head of the Russian delegation Nikolay  Kolomeytsev noted that he had worked in this organization for 20  years, and to the honor of PABSEC for all 25 of its existence, this  is the only organization that has not become politicized. "Moreover,  I want to note that it is incorrect  to make political statements on  the eve of the elections. I want to note that the Ukrainian ships  entered the waters of Russia, and not near the Crimea, but on the  contrary, in the area of Krasnodar region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarded the  actions of Russia "as a violation of the norms of the UN Charter and  the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea".  Earlier Ukraine has  repeatedly accused Russia of violating international law by impeding  free navigation in the Azov and Black Seas.
