Scientific-practical conference is held in Yerevan

ArmInfo.The Scientific and Practical Conference "Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan: Political, cultural and social problems 30 years later" started at the National  Academy of Sciences of Armenia.

Armen Ghazaryan, head of the State Migration Service of the Ministry  of Territorial Administration and Development of Armenia, stated that  much remains to be done on the problems of Armenian refugees from  Azerbaijan. According to him, the structure is primarily responsible  for obtaining Armenian citizenship by refugees, but there is also the  problem of providing refugees with housing. According to him, today  it is the most pressing problem for refugees.

At the same time, the official noted that the goal of the government  is also the ultimate integration of refugees. Ghazaryan also stressed  the need to increase funding for the service to more effectively  address the problems of refugees.
