


ArmInfo. The Investigation Committee of Armenia restored more than 430 million drams in criminal cases initiated against companies engaged in car inspection, Sona Truzyan, Advisor to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia told in an interview with ArmInfo correspondent.
Truzyan noted that in the near future data will be presented with explanations about abuses in this area. "Also, criminal cases have been initiated in almost all regions of the country, similar cases are being investigated. The primary objective of the investigation is to compensate the damage, and in the course of consecutive steps in this direction, in Yerevan alone the recovered damage amounted to 430 mln drams.
To note, on the basis of licenses obtained from the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of Armenia, a number of companies operating in different regions of Armenia, including Yerevan, carried out compulsory technical inspections of vehicles, during which abuses were registered, thereby causing significant damage to the state.
