ArmInfo. Campaigning before the launch of election campaign is legal, and there are no violations of the Electoral Code. This is stated in the statement of the Central Electoral Commission.
According to the CEC, referring to Article 19 of the EC, specific terms for election campaigning have been established with a view to ensuring equal access of all political forces participating in the race to use of public resources, and ensure financial transparency. However, the law does not prohibit to engage in propaganda prior to the beginning of the established by the EC deadlines for pre-election campaigning.
To note, the official election race will begin on November 26 and will last until December 7. However, the political forces participating in the election race accuse Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his team in the early campaigning using administrative resources.
