ArmInfo. Representatives of the Armenia-China parliamentary friendship group, while visiting China, met with the deputy foreign minister of this country, Zhang Yesui. It is reported by the press service of the parliament.
According to the source, the head of the group Ermine Naghdalyan noted that the Armenian-Chinese friendly relations have a long history, and the cooperation of the friendship groups of the two countries is one of the important points of parliamentary diplomacy. According to the head of the friendship group, changes have taken place in Armenia, early parliamentary elections have been appointed, and after the elections, relations with China will continue to develop actively.
In turn, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Beijing highly appreciates the consistent policy of Armenia in matters of the South China Sea and Taiwan. He expressed the hope that after the parliamentary elections in December, the new government of Armenia will continue to develop its relations with China, and Beijing, represented by Armenia, will have a partner in its "One Belt, One Way" program.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also touched upon bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the active role of parliamentary diplomacy in interstate relations.
The delegation also visited the Armenian Embassy in China, in which Ambassador Sergey Manaseryan spoke about the successes of the Armenian stand at the Shanghai Expo and the interest of Chinese companies in Armenian production.
