This statement was made by the Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan during the presentation of a new chapter to the staff of the Department for the Control of Urban Development and Lands of the Yerevan Municipality, which became Robert Darbinyan.
A. Marutian noted that the sphere of management of town planning and land supervision will be fully regulated by the chief architect of Yerevan. The mayor urged the department's staff to work efficiently and quickly respond to any illegal manifestations, preventing them.
<Illegal construction should be immediately terminated, without negotiation, requests or acquaintances. Anyone who will tell you that they will call the mayor or the chief architect to resolve such issues, know that there is no such person in Armenia or abroad. I want you to be strong in this and have no doubt that no action will be committed against you in the future, no agreements will be reached with those who carry out illegal construction.
