Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan discussed issues on the  bilateral agenda

ArmInfo.And about. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aydarbekov in Astana.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia,  Mnatsakanyan confirmed the readiness of the Armenian side to take  joint steps to identify ways of cooperation in new areas and  directions.  The parties agreed that the experience gained during the  25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations is a solid  basis for expanding and deepening relations in various fields. The  areas of innovation, high technology and art education were noted as  new areas of cooperation. The Minister discussed issues of expanding  the legal framework, enhancing trade and economic relations,  cooperation at international platforms.

The interlocutors also discussed issues related to the agenda of the  joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers and Ministers of  Defense, the Committee of Security Secretaries of the CSTO member  countries, as well as the work of the CSTO summit.

Presenting the internal political events in Armenia, Zohrab  Mnatsakanyan touched upon the government's reforms aimed at fighting  corruption, strengthening the rule of law, and ensuring equal  conditions in the socio-economic sphere.

Referring to the Karabakh settlement, and. The Armenian Foreign  Minister noted that the Armenian side is committed exclusively to a  peaceful settlement of the conflict within the framework of the OSCE  Minsk Group.
