David Tonoyan: Following the agreements reached in Dushanbe between  the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan,  tensions on the border have decreased.

ArmInfo. After the agreements reached in Dushanbe between the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, tensions on  the border have decreased. About this November 6 in parliament in an  interview with journalists, said the acting. Armenian Defense  Minister David Tonoyan.

He noted that operational communication was working, and during  violations, they immediately reported that appropriate measures  should be taken. When asked how many times the parties established  operational communication, Tonoyan said: "Very much." And about. The  Minister of Defense also explained that operational communication is  carried out by telephone.

"If work is carried out on the front line, we immediately react to  it. In the case of movements, actions, engineering works that concern  us or the Azerbaijani side, we signal that they should stop. The  reaction of the Azerbaijani side has been very constructive to this  day," Tonoyan.

Note that Pashinyan and Aliyev in Dushanbe agreed to reduce tensions  at the front line and establish operational links between the  parties. After that, the situation on the frontline calmed down  noticeably.
