ArmInfo.Belarus, being between the two largest centers of power, is categorically not interested in conflicts - neither hot nor frozen ones. The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said this at a meeting with a group of American analysts.
"As experts, not only in foreign policy, but also in politico-military issues, there is no need to explain you what threats any military confrontation between the West and the East can pose on us. Our country is not interested in conflicts, either hot or frozen ones. Neither among the neighbors, nor on our own territory, "the Belarusian leader stressed. He noted that the military doctrine of Belarus is exclusively defensive in nature: "It was repeatedly noted that our side will never threaten our neighbors."
Lukashenko also mentioned that Belarus is in a military alliance with Russia, whose relations with the West are currently not the best. "Nevertheless, there are still no bases of other states on the territory of Belarus," the president noted, BelTA informs.
