Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigorian held a regular meeting of the interdepartmental commission in the government coordinating the implementation of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and the Armenia-EU Partnership Priorities Agreement.
As the press service of the RA government told ArmInfo, during the meeting the provisions regarding consumer protection were discussed. In the framework of the discussions, representatives of the responsible structures reported on the planned activities that are included in the road map of the Armenian side based on the provisions of the agreement.
As part of the activities to be included in the roadmap, the Armenian side will be consistent in reducing the existing differences with EU standards in order to further protect the health and safety of consumers. The EU and Armenia will deepen cooperation in the direction of enhancing the level of mutual understanding between the respective systems and accessibility to markets.
The meeting participants also exchanged views on the details of the "road map" of the European side, which will be presented shortly.
