
ArmInfo.The "Enlightened Armenia" party will participate in the early parliamentary elections with its own list and its own political concept, the press service of the party informs.
According to the source, party representatives consider that the country needs systemic, irreversible changes. During their first participation in the parliamentary elections, representatives of the party were running within the Yelk bloc. Participation in the "Yelk" became crucial for all the parties in the bloc. The revolution has changed the political priorities in the country, creating for the first time equal opportunities for all actors involved in political processes. The "Enlightened Armenia" party, after long discussions with the "Republic" party, came to a decision that it would participate in the early parliamentary elections with its list and its political concept.
The list of the "Enlightened Armenia" party will also include representatives of other political forces and active political groups. After the elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan, the residents of Armenia highly appreciated the cooperation of the Enlightened Armenia and the Republic parties, which participated in the mayoral elections in the format of the Luys bloc, the parties will continue to cooperate in the municipality in the format of this bloc.
The rrepresentatives of the party expressed their gratitude to counterparts in the Yelk bloc for cooperation at parliamentary and extra-parliamentary platforms, and believe that the forces in this bloc have the potential for further joint work. To note, during the early elections to the Yerevan mayor's office, the party headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the elections not in the format of the "Yelk" bloc, but in the format of the "My Step" bloc. The "Enlightened Armenia" and "Republic" parties participated in the format of the "Luys" bloc. The head of the "Enlightened Armenia" party, Edmon Marukyan, noted that the parties will also participate in a single bloc in the early elections, however, during the lengthy discussions it was decided that the parties would participate in the early elections separately.
