ArmInfo.Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov sent a welcome message to participants of the First International School of Young Leaders of the CIS countries, taking place in the Armenian city of Dilijan.
The congratulatory message of the Russian Minister, in particular, notes: "Building up multi-format cooperation with the Commonwealth states on the principle of equality, respect and consideration of each other's interests remains Russia's unconditional foreign policy priority. In this regard, we support the holding of your forum that brought together talented youth from different countries of the post-Soviet space. In the current international situation, such intellectual efforts focused on effectively addressing common pressing problems in various areas are extremely demanded. The key to success is a proactive approach to life typical of the young generation of and inexhaustible energy, aimed at the promotion of fresh, unconventional ideas. "
Lavrov also expressed the conviction that the forum would contribute to strengthening trust and sympathy among nations.
To note, yesterday the first International School of Young Leaders of CIS countries kicked off in Dilijan yesterday. Young people from various CIS countries have gathered in Dilijan. More than 500 students have applied for participation in the program, of which only 70 have passed.
