Armenian President expressed his condolences to his Indonesian  counterpart in connection with crash of a passenger plane

ArmInfo. Armenian President  Armen Sarkissian sent a letter of condolences to his Indonesian  counterpart, Joko Widodo, in connection with the crash of a passenger  plane that killed about two hundred people.

As the press service of the RA President told ArmInfo, Sarkissian  expressed condolences to Widodo and the friendly people of Indonesia,  wishing the families and friends of the victims perseverance of  spirit.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashed about 13 minutes after departure from  Jakarta airport. The debris and personal belongings of the passengers  were found in the Java Sea, near the coast of Java. The plane was  flying JT610 to the city of Pankalpinang (the capital of the province  of Bangka-Belitung). According to the latest data, there were 188  people on board, including seven crewmembers. The airline Lion Air is  the largest budget carrier in Indonesia. The liner of the airline  Lion Air, which fell into the sea near the island of Java in  Indonesia, was completely new and was used only a couple of months.  It is also reported that there were about 20 employees of the  Ministry of Finance of Indonesia, 10 more police officers,  representatives of the main department of state assets, employees of  the treasury, employees of the taxation directorate on board.
