Armen Sarkissian to Armenian community of Switzerland: Our real  strength and wealth are our people

ArmInfo.Armenian President Armen Sarkissian who is on a working visit to Switzerland, in Geneva met with representatives of the Armenian-Swiss community.

According to the presidential press service, Sarkisyan noted that we  have entered a new stage in the realization of national goals in the  light of the rapidly developing economic and, especially, industrial  and technological achievements in the world.

Noting the importance of consolidating the national potential around  the pan-Armenian agenda, the President stated: "We have an important  advantage: our small country is in fact a dream of a huge nation, its  goals and interests. Your children and grandchildren should be proud  that you are Armenians, and they belong to a brilliant nation that  has a great mission and purpose in this life. "

"Our real strength and wealth are our people," said President  Sarkissian, adding: "Today's Armenia, which is new and young, moving,  and I hope, will continue to move in the right direction towards  freedom and human dignity. The time has come for each Armenian to be  involved in the affairs of his country, and to the best of his  abilities, contribute to the implementation of patriotic projects and  to the development of the motherland. "

The parties also touched upon the strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora  relations and their development, the preservation of Armenian  identity and the possibilities for more active participation of our  compatriots abroad in the life of Armenia.
