ArmInfo. In the matter of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, secret solutions are excluded. On October 24, the Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to him, the final word in the settlement process should belong to the people of Artsakh. And it is the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic that should participate in the negotiations, since not a single Armenian government can solve the problem without the participation of the Artsakh people. Until Karabakh is not involved in the settlement process, the problem will not be solved. "I have the right to negotiate on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, but not the people of Karabakh, who do not participate in the process of forming power in Armenia," the acting prime minister stated.
According to him, the second and third presidents of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan had their own reasons for excluding Karabakh from the negotiation process. One was the elected president of the NKR, the second-one of the leaders of the Artsakh Defense Army. Now, according to the Acting Prime Minister, it is necessary to return Karabakh to the negotiating table, which would be logical. "Do we want another 20 years to see the problem not settled? There are no problems. But without the people of Artsakh, it cannot be solved," the acting head of the Armenian government said.
