President of the All-Russian Public Organization "Union of Armenians of Russia", Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the Eurasian Partnership  International Forum, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Ara Abrahamyan does  not intend to participate in the upcoming electoral processes in  Armenia.

So, on October 23 at a press conference in Yerevan, answering the  question whether he would participate in the special parliamentary  elections, Abrahamyan, in particular, said, "Yes, in 2016, I was  going to participate in the elections, for several reasons I refused  of this idea, despite the fact that I was well prepared for them.  Today my attention is more focused on the problems that I have. I  personally do not prepare to participate, but at all times I  participated in the processes as a public figure. My goal is one -  stability of Armenia, as business loves a hundred ilnost and  development of the country if I will be able to help Armenia,  regardless of who it at this point would lead, I will do everything  to do it, "-. he said.

Answering the question whether the reduction of his visits to Armenia  was due to the change of power, Abrahamyan assured that he had good  relations with the former authorities, and they were no worse with  the new ones. "You know, power is a temporary phenomenon. I have  always come and will come to Armenia, regardless of who is in power,"  he said, adding that he has good relations with the new authorities.

The chairman of the SAR also touched on his real estate on Northern  Avenue, and noted that he had previously had judicial problems  related to this property, he hoped that they were resolved, but the  case was resumed again. "The problem must be resolved. Stability,  solidarity, the rule of law are needed. The law must act in this  country. I was tied up with the old authorities, however, from 2007  to 2017, the former authorities opened a lawsuit in my relation on a  question related to Northern Avenue. Not so that, under the previous  authorities, I had some privileges, and I came to Armenia to earn  money. Believe me, I know very well where I can earn money, and where  not. I came to Armenia to attract other investors. I am over $ 100  million investment I have implemented a single technological project.  It is necessary to find solutions to this lawsuit. Today, all my  lawsuits, in my estimation, have been resumed with a gross violation  of the law, "said the head of the SAR.

At the same time, he assured that he does not connect the resumption  of business with the new authorities, but expressed surprise that  this is all going on. He lamented the fact that he could not sell the  apartments due to judicial problems.
