The NASDAQ OMX Armenia Stock Exchange and the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA), according to the results of the annual contest "Best Member of the Exchange of 2017," recognized Ameriabank as the winner in two nominations. As the  Bank's press service explained to ArmInfo, these are the nominations  "Best Deposit Account Operator and Best Custodian Bank of the Foreign  Securities Market" and "Best Member of the Regulated Market  Settlement System".

The purpose of the annual "Best Exchange Member" contest held  annually by NASDAQ OMX Armenia and the Central Depository of Armenia  is to encourage financial organizations involved in exchange and  depository activities, providing investment services according to the  canons of professional ethics, to actively participate in the  development of the Armenian capital market.

The award is held for the 9th consecutive year. To select the winner,  the number, volume and effectiveness of transactions concluded at  NASDAQ OMX Armenia sites are taken into account. The best dealer of  the market is chosen on the basis of a general vote of the dealers of  banks and investment organizations of Armenia, which are members of  NASDAQ OMX Armenia.

According to the data of the Finance Rating of Banks of Armenia, as  of July 1, 2018, prepared by ArmInfo IC, Ameriabank on investments in  government bonds is in the TOP-3, having secured 53.1 billion drams  ($ 110.1 million). Ameriabank is leading in terms of attracting from  placing its own bonds with a volume of 48 billion drams ($ 99.5  million) with an annual growth of 64.1%.

It should be noted that by the number of issued corporate coupon  bonds Ameriabank occupies the 2nd position in the market. As of  October 23, 2018, 9 tranches of Ameriabank's bonds are listed on the  Nasdaq OMX Armenia stock exchange: $ 7, 1 euro and 1 dram. The total  issue volume of 7 dollar issues of Ameriabank bonds quoted on the  stock exchange today is $ 63 million, 1 dram - 1 billion drams and 1  euro - 3 million euros. Redemptions on these issues are dated  2018-2022, and in 2018 the term of circulation of the dram tranche  expires (in November), and in 2019 - the euro tranche (in October)  and 3 dollar tranches (in February, May and August). Along with this,  in June 2016, Ameriabank, through its investment manager represented  by responsAbility Investments AG, successfully placed $ 20 million  debt securities in four Luxembourg investment funds, and a year  later, according to the leading financial agency, Cbonds was  recognized as the best investment bank in Armenia.
