ArmInfo. Manvel Grigoryan is slowly dying in prison. This was announced by his lawyer Levon Baghdasaryan at a press conference. "Grigoryan doesn't have half of lung, he suffers from oncology and diabetes. And in prison his condition worsened, he didn't take insulin before, and now he takes it in large doses," the lawyer said.
According to him, Nikol Pashinyan is not in control of the situation, he is given incorrect information, as a result of which Grigoryan is "unreasonably" in prison. In this regard, he urged Pashinyan to appoint a competent specialist, who would be able to check whether Grigorian's condition worsened after his arrest. "If it turns out that I am right, that your subordinates gave you incorrect information, it means that the justice system in Armenia is weak," the lawyer concluded.
Earlier, Grigorian was given a medical examination, which revealed many illnesses, however the head of the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia Sasun Khachatryan assured reporters that "the rumors about Grigorian's health are exaggerated." On June 16, Armenian MP, General Manvel Grigoryan was detained by the National Security Service. During searches, NSS operatives discovered and seized a large number of weapons and ammunition.
The video published by the National Security Service of Armenia shows in detail all the "findings", including food and letters from children that were intended for the soldiers on the front line. Also found in a large number of vehicles, including vintage cars, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and etc.
