"The organizers of this action did not appeal to the Foreign Ministry of Russia therefore it is difficult for us to objectively judge its plan. In principle, we proceed from the fact that the understanding and support of all parties to the conflict are important for the success of such events", the Russian Foreign Ministry told Trend.
Meanwhile, earlier, the head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, Leyla Abdullayeva, stated that Baku would raise a question before the Russian Foreign Ministry about the initiative of Anna Hakobyan to organize an illegal visit of Russian women to the "occupied territories of Azerbaijan." To recall, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan for the visit to Nagorno-Karabakh put into the "black list" deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Svetlana Zhurova, writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya and founder of the Vera Hospice Foundation charity foundation Anna Federmesser. These women visited Karabakh at the invitation of Anna Hakobyan, the wife of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, to participate in the event "Women for Peace".
