The Prime Minister of Armenia after his resignation does not exclude  the possibility of re-nomination to the post of head of government,  provided that he is not elected

ArmInfo.On October 16, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received members of the Yelk parliamentary faction consisting of the head of the faction Lena  Nazaryan, deputies of the National Assembly Aram Sargsyan, Sasun  Mikayelyan and Hayk Kondjorian.  

According to the press service of the government, the Prime Minister, in particular, said that he was pleased to see his supporters in this crucial period. "The goal of  our meeting is to consider the current situation that we have today,  the new stage, which we are entering. I want to say that I highly  appreciate the path that we have traveled together. Of course, during  this transitional period, some agreements need to be fixed in order  steps to move forward and achieve holding early parliamentary  elections, "said the head of the Armenian government. According to  him, in order to ensure legal processes during this period, the  activity of the Elk faction will be necessary, in those same 14 days.  "There is a high probability, and in this is a call by lawyers, that  during these 14 days, at least at the first stage, I will stand for  the post of prime minister so that the process fully complies with  the letter and spirit of the law, of course, with the condition of  non- election" , - Nikol Pashinyan stressed, calling to discuss this  opportunity as well. "Despite the fact that during this period we  were on constant communication, including from the moment of the  crisis, it is nevertheless very pleasant to meet again and discuss  the situation," said Nikol Pashinyan.

In turn, Aram Sargsyan thanked the Prime Minister for his joint work.  He assured that the faction, both worked with great diligence, and  will continue its activities, regardless of what political wing or  approaches it represents. "In this context, we are supporters of the  right legal decisions. Any approaches of lawyers that are beneficial  to the prime minister are also, without doubt, beneficial to us,"  said Aram Sargsyan.
