ArmInfo.Defense Ministers of Armenia and Russia, David Tonoyan and Sergey Shoygu, at a separate meeting on the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of the CIS Defense Ministers in Tashkent, approved a plan for bilateral cooperation between the defense ministries of Armenia and Russia for 2019. On the sidelines of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Defense of the CIS countries, David Tonoyan also held a protocol meeting with his counterpart from Uzbekistan Abdusalom Azizov. To recall, the delegation headed by the Minister of Defense of Armenia on October 12 took part in the regular meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the States members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Tashkent. During the meeting, the issues on the agenda were discussed, and over 20 decisions were signed related to various tipes of cooperation between the military departments.
