ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, in New York on the margins of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, discussed with his counterpart from Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid the development of Armenian-Kuwaiti relations.
The press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo that the interlocutors noted the importance of holding inter-MFA consultations periodically Armenia and Kuwait discussed in detail a wide range of issues, both bilateral and multilateral, stressed the importance of intensifying political dialogue, as well as expanding cooperation in areas such as tourism, culture, science and education, and innovation, including through the active work of the intergovernmental commission.
The interlocutors exchanged views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda. Mnatsakanyan spoke about the approaches and positions of Armenia on the settlement of the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict.
