ArmInfo. The former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), chaired by the leader of the party, former President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, convened a meeting of the executive body.
As the chairman of the RPA organizing committee Ruben Tadevosyan stated earlier, more than a month's break was due to the period of holidays. "Now the RPA RPA meetings will have a weekly character," he said. According to the chairman of the RPA organizing committee, the agenda of the meeting will be formed on the ground, based on the proposals of the chairman and members of the party's executive body.
At the same time, Tadevosyan refrained from commenting on whether the proposal of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to begin discussions on holding early parliamentary elections would be discussed. In the meantime, a deputy from the RPA faction Samvel Farmanyan said that the issue of holding early parliamentary elections was not discussed in the party. At the same time, he did not rule out that, perhaps, the RPA will also turn to street fighting. "Generally, when someone is engaged in politics and is not ready to use all legal means of a political arsenal, he generally can not engage in politics," he said.
