IC: In connection with the incident that occurred in the office of the Prosperous Armenia Party, charges were brought against the use of violence against a representative of power and arbitrariness

As the press service of the Investigative Committee informs, the  preliminary investigation of the criminal case in connection with the  September 22 incident in the office of the Prosperous Armenia Party  continues in the Adjapnyak and Davydashen administrative departments  of the administrative districts.

In the framework of the case, it was reported that on September 22  this year, the senior inspector of the Mashtots Investigation  Department, on the basis of the report on the distribution of bribes  at 18:00 hours, visited the election headquarters at Bashinjaghyan  address 188/5 and inspected the scene of the incident.

According to the materials of the criminal case, at this time the  coordinator of the work of the staff of G.G.  noticed that the  policeman had removed the memory card from the video camera. In order  to prevent the actions of a policeman, G.G. broke the door frame and  glass, opened the door and began to call for the help of the young  people gathered around the staff, numbering about 40 people, ordering  everything to crash in the hall and not let the cops take away the  memory card.

In addition, not obeying the legitimate demands of police officers -  not to interfere with the actions of policemen, in the course of  carrying out their official duties, G.G. applied harmless to their  lives and health violence. "On September 25, G.G. was detained, when  comparing sufficient evidence on September 27 he was charged under  Part 1 of Article 316 (Use of violence against a representative of  authority) and Part 2 of Article 322 (Self-rule) of the RA Criminal  Code. clarifying all the circumstances of the case, clarifying the  participants of the incident with a view to giving a criminal-legal  assessment of their actions, "the RA Defense Ministry said.

Earlier Armenian media reported that deputy prefect of Yerevan  district Ajapnyak, brother of the criminal authority "Phase" Sergei  Grigoryan, Grigor Grigoryan was detained on suspicion of providing  armed resistance to policemen. It was reported that the day before  the municipal elections in Yerevan Grigoryan was detained during a  search in the office of the Prosperous Armenia Party in the case of  bribery of voters.  Recall that on September 22, on the day of  silence, the police, based on received signals, conducted searches at  the headquarters of the Prosperous Armenia Party in the  administrative district of Ajapnyak.  Three people were taken to the  department on suspicion of bribing votes. Naira Zohrabyan, a  candidate for mayor from PAP who came to the place, refuted  suspicions of bribery and already sent a complaint to the republic's  ombudsman.
