"Indeed, the possibility of arranging a visit of our president to  Armenia was discussed, but specific deadlines are not yet discussed,  meaning that the presidents will obviously meet not only in Dushanbe  (at the CIS summit) but in Astana at the CSTO session. the summit of  the Eurasian Economic Union is planned in December, which will also  provide an opportunity for the leaders to talk at least briefly.The  question of the visit (to Armenia - Ed.) or of any terms is not yet  discussed: I think that, probably in terms of the visit makes sense  on elivatsya next year ", - said the Russian leader's aide Yuri  Ushakov at a press briefing on 26 September.

He recalled that the last meeting of the Russian leader and Prime  Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan took place "very recently."

"This year they met three times already, there were enough detailed  discussions, in particular, the last time the president and the prime  minister talked together for about three hours, they spoke really  well and thoroughly," the Russian presidential aide said, RIA Novosti  reported.

Meanwhile, Spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan  said today that consultations on the timing of the possible visit of  Russian President Vladimir Putin to Armenia continue. "The date has  not been specified yet, I can only say that a visit is planned in the  near future," he concluded.
