As the press service of the Human Rights Defender's office told ArmInfo, employees of the office have studied more than 1000 publications in the media and social networks.
Thus, 16 messages received by the "hotline" concerned the impossibility of participation in elections because of having a residence permit less than 6 months, 12 - inaccessibility of participation in elections of persons with disabilities. "The reports also touched on the possibility of participating in elections on ID cards, non receipt of warning leaflets, etc. In all cases, the citizens were given proper advice in the office of the Human Rights Defender," the Human Rights Defender's office said, adding that the "hot line" also received a message from the citizen that he was taken to the police station on Mashtots last night on suspicion of bribing voters, where he was held until 6:00am in the morning. "Publications in the mass media and social networks concerned the equipment of polling stations, the behavior of commission members, etc. The problems related to the secret ballot were recorded, in particular, the cases of photographing and distribution of ballots, as well as publications on recorded clusters at polling stations, cases of sending voters, apartment searches reportedly related to election bribes (according to the publication of groundless ones) .A special attention was paid to information about possible prerequisites impediments to the activities of journalists and observers, "the Human Rights Defender's office said.
