Chief of Armenian Police did not rule out that he could be illegally  wiretapped

ArmInfo.Chief of the Police of Armenia Valery Osipyan does not exclude that he could be illegally wiretapped. At the same time, as Osipyan told reporters on September  14, he does not think that it is worth to be afraid of a scandal in  case of possible promulgation of his telephone conversations.

According to the Chief of Police, despite the fact that the audio  recording of the telephone conversation between the heads of the  National Security Service and the SIS was made public, he feels  himself safe. As Osipyan pointed out, if there was no legislative  norm, he is ready to go out without even escorting guards.  "I want  to assure my fellow citizens that their security is also ensured at a  high level," he assured.  To recall, recently a recording of a  telephone conversation between the Director of the National Security  Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan and the head of the SIS, Sasun  Khachatryan was spread in the network. During the 8-minute  conversation they are discussing the arrest of former Armenian  President Robert Kocharyan, as well as the criminal cases brought  against the CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov and former  Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan. To recall all of them  are  accused of overthrowing the constitutional system during the  post-election events of 2008, which resulted in the death of 10  people.
