The imitated  war declared by Armenia in Azerbaijan within the  framework of the Shant-2018 exercises caused hysteria in Baku

At the same time, the representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign  Ministry asserts that in this way, the international community is  witnessing a deepening of the divide that separates the civilized  world and Armenia. "Denying the effective international political and  diplomatic pressure on Armenia leads to an increase in its claims in  conditions of impunity." We reiterate that the responsibility for the  disruption of the negotiation process, the build-up of tension and  the military adventures of a number of "military games" lie entirely  with the Armenian leadership, Hajiyev.  Note that in Armenia, from  September 11-14, command-staff exercises "Shant-2018" are held. The  purpose of the exercises is to check the coherence of the actions of  all state structures in the event of sudden hostilities. Under the  scenario of the exercises, taking advantage of the aggravation of the  situation in the region, Azerbaijan committed aggression against  Artsakh, while firing on the border villages of Armenia.  Azerbaijan  is assisted by Turkey. Armenia appealed to the CSTO, measures were  taken within the framework of the United Armenian-Russian grouping of  troops.

Within the framework of the exercises, according to the scenario, in  response to the aggression against Artsakh, Armenia declared war on  Azerbaijan.
