RA Prime Minister: Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan should be  brought to trial for crimes committed against the people

ArmInfo. Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan (the second and third presidents of  Armenia - ed.) Should be brought to trial for crimes committed  against the people, for robbery of the country. This was announced on  September 11 by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol  Pashinyan at the pre-election rally of the "My step" block in the  capital's council of elders in the capital community of Davidashen.

According to him, when appointing heads of the National Security  Service, the Investigative Committee and the Special Investigative  Service, they were ordered to disclose all the crimes committed  earlier, identify the perpetrators of the March 1, 2008 events,  return all the loot.  "I bear personal political responsibility for  all arrests, unlike Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, I do not  hide behind the backs of law enforcers, and I am guided by the  mandate given to me by the people," said Nikol Pashinyan. At the same  time, he urged not to politicize the processes taking place in the  legal field, which must pass in accordance with the letter of the  law.  "If members of my family are involved in illegal activities,  they should be punished," the head of government stressed.

In this context, Nikol Pashinyan reported on the existing facts about  the intentions of the second RA President Robert Kocharian to  introduce a state of emergency from February 23. "And it's proven. He  withdrew from the Karabakh front troops that had entered Armenia,  leaving the front line without protection. And this is also proved.  Who is he, if not a criminal and a traitor to his homeland? "Nikol  Pashinyan asked, noting that the troops were ordered to shoot at the  windows of the buildings in Yerevan's Leo Street. In the government  building, the bodyguards of the oligarchs were given special clothes  for organizing provocations, including organizing a pogrom on March  1, 2008. "Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan turned the army into  their mercenaries, and for the crimes committed should be punished.  They should be brought to justice for the robbery of the country,  "said Nikol Pashinyan. He noted that in the personal account of  Sargsyan's brother Sashik Sargsyan only $ 30 million has been  revealed in the country's banks. "He should return all the loot to  the state budget to the last penny," the Prime Minister stated. And  Robert Kocharyan is one of the richest people in the country. Only  his son and daughter owns one of the most fashionable hotels of the  city. "Tell me, with what money?" - the prime minister again asked,  stating that both Robert Kocharian, Serzh Sargsyan, Hovik Abrahamyan,  and Gagik Khachatryan will all be responsible for the robbery of the  people and the country.

"I have no doubt that again there will be people who will announce  the country's slide into a dictatorship. No, this is not a  dictatorship, it is the establishment of law. I will not spare my  life for my people, and I will go to the end, "the Armenian  government head said.
