Lena Nazaryan: From the record of the conversation between the head  of NSS and the head of SIS, it became obvious that "no one gives  judges any instructions"

It became obvious from the record of the conversation between the head of the National Security Service and the head of the Special Investigative Service  that no one has given or gives any instructions to the judges. This  was stated by the MP from the "Yelk" faction Lena Nazaryan in the  National Assembly of Armenia on September 11, referring to the  scandalous record of the conversation between the heads of the  National Security Service and the Special Investigative Service,  which was spread in social networks.

"The matter is that one does not need to be afraid or obey, and if  there are grounds for arrest, the guilty must be arrested.  Judges  have the practice of calling various officials asking how to proceed,  apparently they have not abandoned this habit to this day. In fact,  we got an answer to this question, "Nazaryan said.

 The MP also noted that only relevant government agencies have the  right to listen to such conversations to protect the rights of  citizens and the state of Armenia. "In any other case, such records  are a weapon that is used against the interests of the state and  against freedom of speech." The fact that the phone of the head of  the National Security Service and the SIS are being wiretapped is  unacceptable, and we can assume that earlier telephones of the  defense minister were also wiretapped, and who knows maybe these  conversations were used against our state. A criminal case has  already been opened in connection with this incident. It should be  shown to the public who decided to be a separate state within the  state, "concluded Nazaryan.

In response to this Deputy President of the National Assembly of  Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov stated that he hoped that this record  would be a false one, but as Artur Vanetsyan has confirmed its  authenticity he will have to make a statement on this. 

To note,  in the record of the conversation between the head of the  National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan and the head of the Special  Investigative Service Sasun Khachatryan, the parties are discussing  the arrest of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, as  well as the danger of incarcerating the CSTO Secretary General Yuri  Khachaturov, as "Russia was hardly soothed". Vanetsyan gives  Khachatryan legal advice on what measure of restraint can be taken  against Khachaturov instead of arrest. They also talk about former  defense minister Mikhael Harutyunyan, lawyer Vahe Grigoryan, a friend  of former defense minister Seyran Ohanyan and others. At the  beginning of the conversation, Khachatryan tells Vanetsyan what  Robert Kocharyan said when he saw the secret order by Mikael  Harutyunyan, which was the reason for launching criminal prosecution  against them (according to this order, allegedly, the army was  involved in the events of March 1, 2008, ed. note). Khachatryan  states that Kocharyan's lawyer, Ruben Sahakyan stated that this is  political persecution, he asked the data of all the investigators  participating in the case. "In general, he is engaged in stupid  things," Sasun Khachatryan said. In response to Vanetsyan's question  about how Kocharyan reacted to the order, Khachatryan states: "He was  furious." Vanetsyan further confesses:  "A judge called me who must  pass a sentence on the arrest, he was scared, said he should study  all the grounds before the verdict, I said you can study, but  Kocharyan should be arrested in any case''.
